Loann Burke, AIFD, PFCI, a floral designer and event specialist in Dayton, Ohio, has over 25 years experience in the industry.  Loann was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2005, and was accepted into Professional Floral Communicators International in 2008. She frequently presents product demonstrations and design seminars throughout the country for such floral industry leaders as Smithers-Oasis, Fitz Design, and Gardens America. Loann currently serves as a Design Director for OASIS® Floral Products. She is the incoming Vice President for the North Central Chapter of AIFD. Her designs have been featured in Florists’ Review, Floriology, IDEA Magazine and national print ad campaigns. Loann’s bridal work won the title of Best Bouquets, 2007 and 2008 in Florists’ Review Magazine. In 2008, Loann won the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Dayton Home and Garden Show. In addition, her work was recently seen on ABC’s Extreme Makeover – Home Edition. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Purdue University, and a Master’s degree in Marketing from Wright State University. Loann also presents educational design programs and lectures for wholesalers, garden clubs, and civic organizations.She is currently an event specialist with Furst the Florist in Dayton, Ohio.
